Pego Town Council has incorporated its monuments and places of tourist interest into the CultuAR application, a solution based on augmented reality that aims to enhance the value of the points of tourist and cultural interest of the municipality in which it is implemented, by means of surface detection and geopositioning.

The aim is to involve all the agents involved in order to promote sustainable tourism that respects the environment, tradition and values of the municipality.

The Pego Carnival trilogy starts this weekend with the proclamation and the Descent of the Bullent River.
It continues on Saturday the 10th with the celebration of the Performing Arts Festival, and culminates on Saturday the 17th with the Pinyata or Burial of the Sardine.

The Mancomunitat de Pego, l'Atzúbia i les Valls has opted for the promotion of tourism companies in the area through the creation of a catalogue of tourism experiences aimed at visitors.
This has been made possible thanks to the collaboration of the specialised agency Viajar en familia, and sponsored by Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, within the actions of the 2023 Tourism Dynamisation and Governance Plan.
