ALCALÀ’S SOUTH MOUNTAINS

Circular route that starts from La Trilladora and follows the Saltes path. Shortly after the village you will see the aqueduct and further on you will pass by the “Pouet del tractat” and the Dalt snow storage area and, at the other end, the Bartolo cave.

Circular route that, starting from the main square of Beniaia towards the spring, takes you to the abandoned Moorish village of la Queirola and from here along the path you will reach the Condoig karst where there is a spring that feeds a pool and waters the crops. At the exit of the gully there are some pools where you can refresh yourself before taking the exit route towards the Margarida path and returning to Beniaia.
THE ABANDONED MOORISH VILLAGES

Circular route that takes you through the village. Here it is possible to see the Arab outline of its streets, the house of Miguel Abad with its tower and the church, which was a mosque in the times of Al-Azraq. Leaving the village you can go in the direction of la Adzuvieta, the abandoned villages of la Roca, Benialís, Benicharcos and Rafalet.

Circular Route that starts from the Trilladora and moves by the Endón road until the Tossal de la Creu and Xarpolar. Descending towards the spring of Plantat we come to the Tossal de la Roca. In the upper part there is a bronze-age village and at its base a shelter, whose excavations have brought to light paleolithic remains. On the other side of the road we find an Iberian shelter, called La Roca.
