The Moors and Christians, the fiesta par excellence, is celebrated at the last weekend of June. During the previous week there are competitions of “Tiro y Arrastre”, Exhibitions of Classic Cars, Tuning Concentrations, Motocross, Contest of Festive Music, etc.
On Friday afternoon the Moors and Christians child parade is performed, and at night the Entradeta and the Embassy-Parliament are performed at the Plaza de l'Antic Regne de València. At the end, there is a firework display.
On Saturday morning an offering of flowers to King Jaume I is made with a parade from the Plaça de l'Ajuntament to the Franciscan Convent. In the afternoon the Moor Entry (or Christian one, each year alternately) starts.
On Sunday afternoon the Christian Entry (or Moor one) is displayed.
The following week there are other leisure activities such as bulls in the street and "bou embolat", concerts, children attractions, etc. The Patron Saint’s Days, held on the following Wednesday after the Moors and Christians, are celebrated in honor of the Holy Ecce-Homo. They are linked in antiquity with those of the Precious Blood and date back to the 18th century. On the previous day the image of Ecce-Homo is exhibited in the morning, and in the afternoon it is carried out from the Chapel of Ecce-Homo to the Parish Church of the Assumption, and after that there is a procession of floats.
The following day in the afternoon the solemn procession with the image of the Holy Ecce-Homo is displayed from the Parish Church of the Assumption to the Chapel of the Ecce-Homo. Then there is a firework display.
