   VARIATION No.2
    PEGO - REFUGIO LA FIGUERETA - MISERÀ – PEGO.
   Duration: 3h 30’
   To begin this route it is necessary to go to the end of the Pego Calvario and take the surfaced road. When you reach a gully, you must follow the first path on the left in the direction of the Xical mountain.
   After 40 minutes, arriving at the top of a steep slope, you will reach the Xical terraces; at the bottom it is possible to see the Cova Negra (Black Cave) and on the left the Barranc de les Coves. A little further on the path passes the Barranc de la Canal with its impressive view. Along a gentle incline towards the left you will reach the Pego Excursion Centre’s Refugio de La Figuereta hostel. This is an ideal place to regain your strength. Leave the hostel and cross a riverbed; you will reach the Tossal Grau where you have a marvellous panorama of the Ebo Valley. Zigzagging down towards the right you will reach a surfaced road that, if you follow it to the right, takes you towards the Pla del Miserà. From here, in the direction of Pego, after a steep downhill and a couple of bends, on the left-hand side is the Pedres Planes track which will take you back to the starting point.

   VARIATION No.3
   PEGO-AMBRA-BARRANC DE L’INFERN PATH-FIGUERETA-PEGO
    Duration: 3h 20’
    Start in Pego, from the path parallel to the wall of the Franciscan convent’s football pitch. At the end of the path you will reach the old Ebo path. Follow this as far as another path where there is a junction with the turnoff for the Ambra castle. After a few metres you will leave the path. Going slowly upwards, you are on one of the oldest and most important paths in the Pego mountains. As its name indicates, it was the way between Pego and Ebo. You will go up by the Bodoix mountain, leaving the Pego Valley and Ambra castle below; after 55 minutes walking you will reach the Rata animal pen and the Pego-Ebo road. Walk along the road for about 500 metres, taking a path that comes out again on the same road where you have to take the path from where, further on, you will find the junction that comes from the main path. Following in the direction of the Refugio La Figuereta hostel you will reach the Carrasca animal pen and the Barranc de l’Infern path, which should be followed as far as km.8 of the Pego-Ebo road. After about 300 metres in the Ebo direction, take the forest track that goes to the Refugio La Figuereta. From here, take the path going down in the direction of Pego, passing by the Xical. The route finishes at the Pego Calvario.

   VARIATION No.5
   EBO-GILI SPRING-AVENCS PATH-FIGUERETA-EBO.
   Duration: 2h 30’
   Level of difficulty: low
   Leaving Ebo on the path that goes along the right-hand edge of the Barranc de l’Infern, you will soon see the location of the Gili Spring. Cross the gully beside an animal pen and the path will take you, through a pine wood, to the road, crossing it. After a lot of bends you will reach the path to the Refugio La Figuereta hostel. You must be careful because on the left there is a pothole, l’avenc ample, which is 55 metres deep. Following the path to the left, cross a riverbed and you will reach the Tossal Grau where you have a marvellous panorama of the Ebo Valley. Zigzag downhill and turn off towards the right until you reach a surfaced path that takes you to the junction of the Ebo-Alcalà road. On the left-hand side is the way to Ebo.
