Pego, Tourist town in the category of “Tourist Attraction Destination”.
The tourism advisor has agreed that Pego complies with the required elements to be considered as a "tourist town" within the Valencian Community. This is due to our natural attractions, monuments and social culture. Pego received a significant number of visitors that not always stayed overnight.
According to the Tourism Law of the Valencian Community, there are three categories: tourist destination, holiday destination or Tourist attraction destination. Pego has acquired the last category “Tourist attraction destination”.
Pego, Family Tourist Destination
Pego is accredited with the "Family Tourist Destination" by www.viajarenfamilia.net and Aturfam (Association of Family Tourism in the Valencian Community). Pego has been selected due to having the facilities, activities and services available and the potential for development of family tourism in the town of Pego. The Network of Family Tourist Destinations are formed by the towns of: Pego, Calpe, Biar, Santa Pola (Alicante province), Vinaròs, Peñíscola, Benicàssim, Jérica (Castellón province), Bocairent, Chulilla, Xàtiva, Moixent, The Puig, Cullera, Rótova, Serra and Valencia.

- Passeig Cervantes - Pla de la Font: children’s garden, commercial area and “Font dels Quatre Xorros” (fountain).
- Passeig Michel: children’s garden, outdoor fitness and refreshment stall.
- Passeig Verdales-Atzaneta: children’s garden, outdoor fitness and refreshment stall.
- Plaça Metge Almela: children’s garden, outdoor fitness.
- Plaça del Mercat o “Replaceta”: recreational and commercial area.
- Calle Santa Bárbara: children’s garden.
- Plaça del Convent: children’s garden.
- Calle Ràfol d’Almúnia: children’s garden.
- Plaça de la Constitució: parchis (Parcheessi: game, painted on the floor).
- Penya del Gat: green space.
- Passeig del Calvari: green space.
- Passeig Favara: green space.
- Font del Baladrar: viewpoint.
